Description of the ENICON project.
Goals
The project concerns a demonstrator presenting the coupling between a micro-CHP
and a simple client, in casu a mobile GSM phone. This client uses SMS messages
to perform these actions and it is possible to:
-
Monitor the status, i.e. the remaining time available to generate electricity
-
Control the micro-CHP, i.e. switch on or off the electricity generation
Scope
Inside the scope of the project are:
-
The realisation of a control for a single micro-CHP (the micro-CHP at GET
laboratory)
-
The realisation of a single SMS client, a mobile phone with a Midlet created
for enhanced user-friendliness. ‘Underwater’ the Midlet uses SMS messages for
communication.
-
Documentation consisting of a design document and documented code. The design
document will describe a static decomposition, dynamic behaviour (sequence
diagram) and state diagrams, if appropriate. The design document will be a
compact document meant for realising the demonstrator.
-
Testing and integration
-
Project management and configuration management
Results
The demonstrator is completed sucessfully and is used for demo purposes and is
presented to the steering group.
